2026 Construction Updates

The City of Valdez 2026 road construction season is expected to begin May 1, 2026. Updates will be posted on this page throughout the season.

Phase IV

  

  • Construction on Pavement Management Phase IV: Meals Avenue will begin May 2026 and be substantially complete by October 31, 2026.

Phases V and VI

  

 

  • The project team is continuing design work for Phases V and VI.
